Uttam Kumar Saha Choudhury is an Artist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Fine Arts (Painting) at the University of Development Alternative (UODA). He discovered his passion for art at an early age and has since made a significant impact on the art world.

Uttam Kumar Saha Choudhury is an Artist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Fine Arts (Painting) at the University of Development Alternative (UODA). He discovered his passion for art at an early age and has since made a significant impact on the art world.

In 1996, Uttam completed his Pre-Bachelor of Fine Arts (pre BFA) degree in the Fine Arts group from Khulna art College under University of Rajshahi. In 2000 completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in the Department of Drawing and painting from Khulna art College under National University. This marked the beginning of his formal art education. Later, in 2004, he pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Department of Painting at UODA, further enhancing his artistic skills and knowledge.

Uttam has showcased his art in various exhibitions, where his natural-themed paintings have received widespread acclaim. He’s also been an active participant in art workshops and camps, continuously expanding his artistic horizons.

As an Associate Professor at UODA, Uttam shares his passion for art with the next generation of artists, inspiring them to explore their own creative paths.
